Skipper's Tips

What to Bring
Please bring suitable clothing for the time of year including a hat and suntan lotion for protection from the sun as it can be much stronger at sea. You may also want to bring with you a light sweater and waterproof as the weather can be changeable on the water.

We request that only soft soled shoes are worn on deck with NO BLACK SOLES.

Bare feet optional!

Photography
Bring plenty of film and spare batteries are a good idea.

Sea Sickness
One reason why the Carrick Roads and Helford and Fal Rivers are so popular is their calm, mirror like waters in summer. 'Fossils Venture' is a very stable and comfortable flybridge cruiser. However, if you are prone to motion sickness I recommend that you purchase over the counter medicines and/or seasickness bands.
